Buganda Kingdom Strengthens Community Engagement with Bicycle Distribution

Buganda Kingdom- In order to boost communication and community outreach, 100 bicycles were distributed to the chiefs of various districts in Ssingo.

The handover ceremony was led by Ssingo’s ssaza chief, Mukwenda Deo Kagimu, at Mutuba III Bukomero District Court.

During the event, Chief Mukwenda encouraged the chiefs who received the bicycles to use them effectively to spread important information from the Kabaka to the people.

He emphasized the need for chiefs to promote active involvement in all programs initiated by the Kingdom of Buganda.

Mukwenda highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of its people.

He noted that Buganda aims to foster growth through a range of programs designed to stimulate public health and hygiene, as well as other community development initiatives.

This initiative symbolizes Buganda’s continuous efforts to strengthen its ties with its people and ensure effective communication within the Kingdom.

The distributed bicycles are expected to help chiefs reach remote areas more easily, facilitating the spread of information and encouraging greater participation in the Kingdom’s activities.

By prioritizing health, hygiene, and comprehensive community engagement, Buganda seeks to empower its citizens and promote sustainable development throughout the region.
