Masaza Cup 2024-Kickoff on June 22nd.

The committee of Buganda responsible for organizing the 2024 Masaza Cup has divided all 18 masaza teams into three groups, Bulange, Masengere and Muganzirwazza.
The Bulange Group; includes the recent champions of Bulemeezi 2023, Buddu, Kyadondo, Buluuli, Butambala and Bugerere.
Muganzirwazza; these include Gomba the record champions, Buweekula, Ssingo, Kyaggwe, Mawogola and Kkooki.
The Masengere group includes Mawokota, Buvuma, Kabula, Busujju, Ssese and Busiro.
The vote was taken at the Mengo Palace in a meeting attended by the provincial team leaders, the organizing committee and the Minister of Sports, Youth and Talent Affairs, Owek Ssalongo Robert Sserwanga.
At the meeting, the leaders of the provincial teams agreed on the rules that will govern this year’s tournament, with the rule that has been limiting players who have reached the age of four to playing for the masaza to that extent lifted.
A player is now free to play in the tournament for all ages except those bought by professional clubs.
The 2024 masaza cup tournament will start on 22 June as soon as possible the kingdom will have an entertaining and amazing turnups.
