Sadly Accident Involving Away Masaza Team Winners.

It has been confirmed that two fan supporters of Kyaggwe Ssaza team died in a nasty accident yesterday coming from Gomba following there win at Core PTC.

The deceased identified as Ssemakula Swaibu who has been living in Wanton Mukono Municipality, who has been a bouncer in House Bouncer’s association at Wanton Mukono Jinja stage.

A yet-to-be-identified man, known to be a staunch supporter of the Kyaggwe Ssaza team, has been reported deceased.

The accident occurred at a dangerous corner in Kayenje village, near Gombe town in Butambala, on the road from Butambala to Gomba and Ssembabule (Kampala road).

The accident escalated after the driver of a vehicle with registration number UBK432M lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn three times.

Dr. Amoga Joseph of Gombe Hospital in Butambala revealed that they received 18 patients with fresh wounds. Among these, two died instantly, and eight patients were sent to Mulago Hospital in critical condition.

Four patients remained in Gombe Hospital. One of them was confirmed to be in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

Nicholas Ssebuwuufu, commonly known as ‘Bilangilangi,’ is the number one fan or supporter of Kyagwe Ssaza from Nsambya Kevina Zone. Another patient is Lumu Baker, a sports presenter at a radio station in Mukono, who suffered a broken hand.

The third identified patient is Alfred Nzaboga, a resident of Mpigi District, who asked the moving Kyagwe Ssaza team to drop him off in Mpigi.

Kalyoowa Ivan gave the visitors the lead in the 49th minute, assisted by Arafat Mawanda.

In the 53rd minute of the second half, Isaac Ofoyiroth doubled the visitors’ lead to make it 2-0.

Goalkeeper Mugera Sulaiman appeared too casual and clumsy in the Gomba goal, conceding two goals in less than five minutes.

At the end of the 90th minute, Gomba lost at home 2-nill.
