NUP Celebrates First Graduates from School of Leadership

This afternoon, the National Unity Platform (NUP) proudly celebrated a milestone in there journey to empower Uganda’s future leaders.

In Kavule, the first batch of comrades from NUP’s newly established School of Leadership received Certificates of Completion, marking the end of their initial training phase.

These comrades, divided into three groups—elected leaders, professionals, and foot soldiers—completed the first of three training levels offered by the school.

The event was honored by the presence of Gen. Mugisha Muntu, who served as the Chief Guest.

His keynote address emphasized the importance of discipline in a movement like NUP’s, inspiring attendees to embrace their roles with a sense of responsibility.

Gen. Muntu’s words highlighted how discipline and dedication are vital in the struggle for positive change.

NUP understands that Uganda needs competent leaders to bring about lasting change.

Beyond equipping its members with leadership skills, the organization aims to instill values that foster unity, integrity, and commitment to the nation’s progress.

Reflecting on the powerful words of Nelson Mandela, who said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” NUP has encouraged graduates to generously share their acquired knowledge and skills within their communities.

This graduation is not just a celebration of academic achievement but a promise of hope and responsibility for a brighter future for Uganda.

The National Unity Platform remains committed to nurturing a new generation of leaders capable of guiding the nation toward a peaceful and prosperous tomorrow.
