The president of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, received a hero’s welcome upon his arrival in Kisoro town.
Hundreds of supporters lined the roadsides and filled verandas to cheer and wave at him as he made his way through the area.

In Kisoro, he is set to campaign for Ms. Sultana Salim, the NUP flag bearer for the upcoming district woman Member of Parliament by-election.
This election was called to fill the seat left vacant after the passing of Minister Matama.
The by-election is scheduled to take place on November 14. NUP’s ongoing tour has been marked by enthusiastic crowds and strong public support.
Bobi Wine’s presence has reignited local political energy, emphasizing the party’s message of change and solidarity.
With this momentum, the NUP continues to strengthen its outreach and campaign efforts, demonstrating its impact across Uganda.
