Remembering Jowash Fransis Ayume: A Legacy of Service and Tragic Loss(1940-2004).

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the untimely passing of Jowash Fransis Ayume, a prominent Ugandan statesman who served his country with distinction. On May 16, 2004, Uganda lost one of its most esteemed leaders in a tragic road accident in Nakasongola, along the Kampala-Gulu road. Ayume was 64 years old at the time of his death, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated public service and an indelible mark on Uganda’s legal and political landscape.
