Major Police Leadership Shake-up-Rusoke Kituuma Replaces Fred Enanga.
Newly appointed Chief of Police Abasi Byakagaba has made changes in the police leadership where he has transferred some senior officers to other positions, including promoting the lower ranks.
Former Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga has been relieved of his duties as Police Spokesperson.
Fred Enanga is said to have been replaced by Rusoke Kituuma.
Kituuma was the KCCA operations commander during the tenure of the late President Jenifer Musisi Ssemakula.
Among the transfers, Emmanuel Muhirwe has been transferred to the directorate of Human Resource Administration , where he is now in charge of all police camps in the country.
SCP Christine Nanding has been transferred from the Police Legal Department to the Professional Standards Unit.
Meanwhile, Suleiman Kirungi who has been in office for some time has now been replaced by God and is now the head of the water police.
Fred Enanga succeeded Emilian Kayima in 2019 as the full-time police spokesperson.
Emilian Kayima is now in the police printing department, and has written many books on crimes surrounding land grabbing in the country.
