Masaza Cup Kicks Off with Bulemeezi and Buluuli Clash.

The highly anticipated 2024 Masaza CupFootball Tournament is set to commence on June 22nd at the Kasana Luweero Stadium. Bulemeezi and Buluuli will have the honor of opening this year’s competition, promising an exciting start for football enthusiasts.

Bulemeezi, the defending champions, clinched the title in 2023 with a narrow 1-0 victory over Gomba at Wankulukuku Stadium. This year, the team is under the leadership of coach Paul Nkata. They will face Buluuli, coached by Anthony Bongole, in what is expected to be a thrilling opener.

Both teams are part of a competitive group that includes Bulange, Buddu, Kyadondo, Butambala, and Bugerere. The chairman of the provincial tournament committee, Sulaiman Ssejjengo, has urged both teams to prepare diligently and deliver an outstanding match for the Kabaka’s people.
