Defender Mustafah Kizza has joined Telecom SC from Uganda Premier League side Express which he previously joined at the start of the 2024/25 season.
Mustafah Kizza’s move to Express came from KCCA where he left after his contract expired last season.
He has become the second Ugandan to play for Telecom SC, the first being Geoffrey Massa who played for them between 2009 to 2011 from South African side Jomo Cosmos.
Mustafah Kizza also joined Joachim Ojera, Allan Kyambadde and Joseph Ochaya in the Egyptian second division.
Mustafah Kizza has also played in the United States and Portugal.
Who is Mustafah Kiiza?
Born on 3rd Oct 1999 at Kibuli Kampala. He plays as a left back for both club football and the national team (Uganda cranes).
On 24 February 2017, Kizza was unveiled at Kampala Capital City Authority’s ground, Lugogo.
Kizza made his senior debut for Kampala Capital City Authority against Bright Stars FC at Phillip Omondi stadium on 3 March 2017.
He scored his first goal for Kampala Capital City Authority against Police FC on 15 November 2017 at Phillip Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
He played several matches for Kampala Capital City Authority and he was one of the best wing backs in the league by then.
In July 2020, he signed for Montreal Impact (which became known as CF Montréal in 2021). Following the 2021 season, Kizza’s contract option was declined by Montréal.[10]
In July 2022, he signed for a Portuguese Club F.C. Arouca which plays in the top division Primeira Liga. He was given a three-year contract.
