Uganda Cranes Ready to Silence Bafana Bafana in AFCON Qualifier

The Uganda Cranes are set to return to action this Friday at the Mandela National Stadium as they host South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in a crucial Group K match on the road to AFCON Morocco 2025.

Uganda cranes currently leads Group K with an impressive 10 points from four matches, having secured three wins and one draw.

Bafana Bafana follows closely in second place with 8 points, boasting two wins and two draws.

Congo Brazzaville is third with 4 points from one win and one draw, while South Sudan sits at the bottom of the table with no points after failing to secure a win.

The Cranes began their training sessions earlier this week. Head coach Paul Joseph Put confirmed that the team is in good shape and ready for the match.

Among the players to watch is Allan Okello, who rejoined the squad after showcasing remarkable performances with Vipers SC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Travis Mutyaba, who plays for Bordeaux in France, has also returned to the team, bringing added strength and agility.

Additionally, Aziz Kayondo is back in the squad, while Elio Capradosi misses out due to limited playtime.

With the team in high spirits and top form, fans are eager to see if Uganda Cranes can maintain their lead in the group and edge closer to securing a spot in AFCON Morocco 2025.

The stage is set for an electrifying encounter as the Cranes aim to silence Bafana Bafana and keep their top position in Group K.
