Suspected Terrorist Killed in Mityana District in a night gunfire.

“Suspected terrorist killed in Mityana district – he had just settled in the village and started growing tomatoes”.

Security forces including the army and police attacked Kambaala village in Maanyi-Mityana district, and started firing and a suspected terrorist was killed.
The unidentified victim was allegedly found with a gun in his cheast dead after the gun fire.
Kambaala Village Chairman Joseph Lukoda, said the man had just settled in the area two months ago, rented from the houses of a resident identified as Kayinja(Landlord), and had come with his 8 – 10 year old son of importance.
However, the chairperson revealed tha, when he arrived in the area he rented land and started growing tomatoes.
Residents of Kambaala heard gunshots at around 4pm, which led to reports that the settler had been killed and a gun was found in his chest after the murder.
Police have recovered the body and taken it along with the son. However, security officials have not explained the circumstances of the attack.
News circulating reveal that the victim might be among the enemies of the country, the ADF rebels but the right information remain uncertain until an official statement from the security operatives of Uganda.
